Welcome to Weymouth GP Led Walk-in Centre

Within Weymouth Community Health Centre is a GP-led walk-in centre offering a range of services, including health information, advice and treatment for a range of minor illnesses without you having to make an appointment.

NHS walk-in centres have been introduced to help people with busy lifestyles needing access to flexible and convenient health services, and those who are temporary residents or visitors to the area.

The centre is situated adjacent to the Minor Injuries Unit MIU and is run by a team of experienced GPs and Nurse Prescribers. It does not replace your local MIU, GP or hospital services but compliments them by providing a range of treatments for minor illnesses.

A private Travel Clinic is also run at the centre, for an informative telephone call please call our Reception Team on 01305 980000 who can book in a callback with our Travel Nurse who can review what vaccinations you may need and costs will be given to you. This is an extemeley competive and efficent service so you can expect a convenient appointment to fit in with you.

This walk-in centre is run on behalf of NHS Dorset by The Practice plc, a leading independent provider of healthcare services. The walk-in centre offers clinical services to NHS patients who need to be sure of the very highest standards. We aim to deliver genuinely caring and thoughtful patient-centred services.
